Cheyenne Dove

Counseling Student Intern
Capella University
Supervised by Dr. Shawna Munson

My name is Cheyenne "Chey" Dove (She/her/hers). I'm a counseling student Intern currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Capella University.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavioral Analysis with Magna Cum Laude distinction from Purdue University in my home state of Indiana. As someone who has worked in healthcare for 8 years, I am passionate about helping those navigate significant changes due to health, injury, or loss. My passions also include helping those navigate sexual health concerns such as hypersexuality, affairs, low libido, shame, and identity discovery. I pride myself on helping individuals, couples, and those who may identify as LGBTQ+, polyamorous, or part of the kink community.

My purpose as a therapist is to help fill the gaps in behavioral healthcare by offering therapy tailored to the unique needs of those we serve. I focus on uplifting and guiding those to the progress they want to achieve while offering a safe and judgment-free space to unpack the most vulnerable aspects of your life.
