Lauren Lewis

Hello! Glad you’re here! My name is Lauren Lewis, and I am a counseling student at Sam Houston State University. I am working to complete my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I hope to graduate in December 2025. Throughout my internship, I will be supervised by Dr. Shawna Munson and Gabriela Rivas, LPC. I have been passionate about mental health since I was very young, and I was inspired by my own personal experiences to help and guide others on their own mental health journey. I believe that counseling is a journey, and I am here to walk with my clients every step of the way. I have an interest in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use a person-centered approach to help my clients explore their own strengths. My goal is to create an environment filled with empathy and trust, and a place where my clients feel safe and can grow.
