Matthias Litzmann

Hello! My name is Matthias Litzmann, and I am a dedicated counseling intern currently pursuing my Masters in Counseling at Sam Houston State University. Under the supervision of Dr. Shawna Munson, LPC-S, LMFT-S, I am committed to providing empathetic support to facilitate positive change in the lives of my clients. With valuable hands-on experience in counseling individuals, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges.

With a compassionate and realistic approach, I am devoted to providing effective counseling services and supporting individuals on their path to personal growth and well-being. I actively engage in community outreach programs, workshops, and seminars as part of my commitment to promoting mental health awareness. I strongly believe in the transformative power of education and aim to empower individuals to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and lead fulfilling lives. I have a particular interest in working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, people in recovery from substance abuse, and individuals struggling with anger issues.
